iATKOS S3V2 的 ATI 5770 驅動程式

After installing  iATKOS S3V2, the Video Caard ATI 5770 can only work under 1024 x 768 resolution. However, the problem is easy to solve and it will support QE/CI as well.

剛裝完  iATKOS S3V2後，5770 只能在 1024 x 768 的狀況下啟動。那表示驅動沒有抓到。解決方法很簡單，而且還可以支援 QE/CI !!


1.Remove caches folder on library
   刪除  library 裡的 caches
2.Remove caches folder on system/library
    刪除  system/library  裡的 caches
3.Run Disk Utility and click Repaired disk permissions
    執行  Disk Utility 選擇 mac 的分區並點選下方的 Repaired disk permissions
4.Restart or reboot
    重開機
5.Go to System Preferences and click Energy Saver
    進到  System Preferences 中選則  Energy Saver
6.Drag two line cursor to never posision and unclick Put the hard disk bla..bla..and Allow power button bla..bla..
     總言之就是把睡眠、待機、螢幕自動關閉等功能全部關閉(就是拉到最右邊)
7.Go to applications/Utilitis and click Show-Hide Files app
      進到 applications -> Utilitis 執行 Show-Hide Files
8.Go to root mac HD Installations :
- Open Extra Folder
- Open Extensions Folder and remove or delete SleepEnabler.kext
    進到 mac 的根目錄
    打開  Extra 資料夾
    打開 Extensions 資料夾並刪除 SleepEnabler.kext

9.BackUp IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStroageClass.kext on Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
    備份(copy 到桌面 )Sytem/Library/Extensions  裡的  IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStroageClass.kext
10.Install 10.6.7 UpdateCombo>wait to finish>Don't Restart or Reboot Computer
     安裝 10.6.7 UpdateCombo 但是不要重開機!!!!
11.Copy IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStroageClass.kext (U BackUp) to Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
     複製桌面上的  IOUSBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStroageClass.kext 回到  Sytem/Library/Extensions Folder
12.Run Kext Utility>wait to finish>Restart or Reboot Computer
    執行  Kext Utility ，等到全部執行完成後，點右下角的 Done.

***I encountered the fail of  IOUSBFamily.kext. To solve it, I use kext helper to install  IOUSBFamily.kext and run Kext Utility again. ***
***中途我是有遇到提示跳出來，顯示  IOUSBFamily.kext 失敗。所以我又用了 Kext helper 來安裝一下 IOUSBFamily.kext  並再重跑一次   Kext Utility ***

13. Reboot and Enjoy the full-functioned ATI 5770!!
     重開機後，就可以完全使用 ATI 5770 了!!
